The food had lots of flavor, did not taste generic.. even the egg drop soup was above the norm. We got it the happy platter aka pupu platter. It came with a mini grill to reheat/Char the meat items. And we got the family meal. It came with soup, Mongolian beef, lemon chicken, fried rice, and a pork wrap and lil banana wonton for dessert. Everything tasted bright and flavorful. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive.. which i like.
Excited to go, food was very disappointing. Soup fine, Sweet and Sour pork fine. Pork fried rice was unlike any have.eaten in my 60 years. Funky, as was Chicken chow mein. Really wanted to love the place.
I am going to dinner here tonight and have been going here since 1994. Great Cantonese authenticity reminding me of metal topped dishes of the 60s. ( Gone after the 90s). Prices are good.
Try the Family dinner for 2-4, extra entrees and a mountain of apps are included for around 20 dollars pp or less. But for one person,
pick your entree and you get soup, egg roll crab puff for a dollar. more. Lunch special around 10 dollars. Service is great.
