This was my first time at Henhouse. I had their biscuits and gravy breakfast, which comes with 2 eggs and potatoes. I added bacon as well. The biscuits and gravy were excellent, and I loved that they simply sliced potatoes and grilled them. I don't like onions or peppers, so they were great. The bacon was good, but could have been crisper- I'll make sure I ask for that next time. I like my eggs scrambled well and they were also perfect. Last but certainly not least,...
I wanted a quick bite and I live in the area and heard about it. Decided to try it today and boy I sure was missing out. I didn't even take a picture of my plate cause it was that good. I recommend the chicken fried steak ...... It was so good I got a second one 😁 I will definitely be back with the family.
We're trying to spread out to the unknown, to us, restaurants and have fallen in love with two. Mickeys D's in Apache Junction and the Henhouse Cafe in Chandler. You get what you pay for and then some at both places and the service for both was excellent. If possible I would give the Henhouse a 12 out of 10 and Mickey D's an 11 out of 10. Highly recommend!
