My family goes there pretty frequently, and have been for well over 15 years. The food is generally some of the best Korean food I have had in the Phoenix area. I have tried about half the menu, and can’t say I have had anything bad. The Spicy Pork used to be my go to, but in the last few months the meat has gotten a little weird. Hodori is on our rotation of favorite restaurants. We like to eat family style sharing all dishes so we like it best for 3+ people. We like Korean food and Asian food in general. Every dish that we have ordered over many years has been excellent.. We really like the pickled vegetables that are served in side dishes. A bottle of Kirin Ichiban (although Japanese) pairs well.

Tuesday lunch quickly had near full house, thankfully we arrived early. Service was bit slow due to lack of servers.

Fresh soy bean paste casserole, which is different from fermented soy bean paste, is much better after requesting with less water. If you haven't had it before, it is stinky but great to mix over white rice.
You can't go wrong with Bossam- it is a large portion for sharing.
