Food was good, but portions were too small IMO. For $15, I expect a HUGE burrito , not a meduim sized / gas-station size burrito. This is MESA, AZ not NYC or LA. The Senorita behind the counter was SUPER nice, and well put together. The inside of the establishment was very clean.
I have never eaten anything better IN MY LIFE! Chefs indeed!! The attention to detail in every inch of this restaurant is beyond impressive... from the homemade corn tortillas and drinks like cantaloupe, horchata and jicama to the fine details of the restaurant decor (I love the handmade metal sign, gorgeous), it's enough to make a person feel like they are in another world. I tried 3 different tacos - al pastor, asada and carnitas. The quality 👌 No food anywhere else...

I would have given higher stars for food because my shrimp tacos were AMAZING! However, my husbands smothered, bean and cheese burrito was just Meh. If you find your favorite on the menu, this is the local place where you come regulary.
