Thanks to Amber & Brynn for an amazing reception for a family wedding this last Saturday night. They helped us decorate, were super kind & accomodating, and worked with us the entire duration of our 6 hr event. Food was exactly what we expected, affordable, and put out to our guests exactly when we requested. Also shout-out to Myrna n Shawna who helped us along the panning process. This is an excellent location/venue for a family-friendly, local private event that is affordable...
Compared to the Macayo’s that reads in Scottsdale that closed years ago I felt like the portions were smaller and wasn’t as good. It’s still good Sonoran Mexican food just not as good as it used to be.
I had to come to this location because the Scottsdale location is (hopefully) temporarily closed. But it is really lovely inside. Food was exactly how it should be. I get the green corn tamale with the Baja sauce. Every time. My one complaint is that the parking lot spaces seem designed for smart cars or motorcycles. Definitely not SUV or van friendly.
