An incredible experience. The chef is happy to chat about sushi at the bar, which is something I didn't know I wanted to do! They source interesting fish for their nigiri. I especially enjoy the nigiri and specialty salmon, but all their selections are excellent. The chef convinced me to eat the bones of one fish alongside the nigiri he made with it, and, shockingly, I don't regret it one bit. He'll have to try a little harder if he wants to get me to eat the head though. I'm not quite that courageous yet. Every bite tastes perfect to me. I'm no expert admittedly, but I like to think I'm not completely oblivious, and this food strikes me as better than what I paid for! I'll be back over and over.

This has been my go-to sushi spot for over 5 years. Every visit is a mind-blowing experience. The chef is incredibly selective with his ingredients, often sourcing rare seasonal cuts that most places don’t carry like this Ora Salmon(this is the best bite of fish I ever had lol) and Blue Fin toro. The quantity and freshness of the fish is the best you can get anywhere in AZ. I highly recommend ordering nigiri and sashimi from the menu board by the sushi bar, it contains the best cuts of fish.
The restaurant isn’t flashy like a lot of trendy sushi restaurants in the valley. Instead, the focus is on the quality of the food. The sushi chef is an expert in his craft and it’s such a joy to watch him work. You can tell he takes immense pride in every piece he serves.

Sushi was pretty decent and happy hour prices were so-so. My real issue here is that our server, Edson, added a pre-determined gratuity to our bill without communicating this to us during our meal. I have tried calling the restaurant to clear this up, but they have yet to return my call, nor remove the additional tip that was left. I would have really appreciated being notified prior to dining that there was an automatic service charge on each bill.
I was really surprised by this store front sushi bar. It had some of the freshest, most buttery textured sashimi I've had.

Definitely one of the best hidden gems for sushi. Everything about this place is wonderful. I wanted to say it was horrible, and to not come here, so I could keep it to myself and the regulars that eat here, but that wouldn't be fair to the owners, and I'd love to see them succeed and grow. You really won't be disappointed if you come here. It's a great date night spot especially.
