Went here for the first time last night. The chimney cakes were great! There is a lot of different combinations you can make. I got the barvarian creme in a cinnamon sugar cone. It was great! We will definitely be back.
They make them fresh so there is a bit of a wait but they had the magic school bus playing on the TV, a tic tac toe game board and a puzzle to distract you. My husband and I played a few rounds of tic tac toe and attempted to help on the puzzle, that was difficult lol staff was friendly and happy to explain what chimney cake were. As a proud Hungarian, I was really happy to discover AZ Chimney Cakes. Kürtőskalács, or Hungarian chimney cakes, are a special part of our culture, and it is awesome seeing them represented here in Arizona. While the preparation style is a bit different from the traditional handmade method in Hungary, the flavor is very enjoyable and the experience still brought a little taste of home.
