I have mixed feelings about Mariscos. The food was good, the service was good but we were the only customers, the menu was in Spanish (our bad, I understood enough to get the jest, our waiter did not speak alot of english so what we ordered was alittlebit of a surprise, but in a good way)) and the $15.00+ Margarita was not drinkable. We will probably go again because the dish, see picture, was outstanding and enough for the two of us and we will stick to beer.
Waiting for our vehicle to get serviced we walked over and were pleasantly surprised. The guacamole with chicharron was delicious and a huge portion. The quesa birria was the best, not only the meat was seasoned beautiful but the tortilla alone was perfect. Love that they had Horchata and Jamaica too. Fantastic service as well. Highly recommend this hidden gem. The menu offered many seafood options. Atmosphere a little dark, bar style, but did not bother us.
On Sycamore amd Main st in Mesa, Az. Nice, clean restaurant/bar, not many patrons.Went in a Saturday-KARAOKE ONLY now. Miss the days of Bands on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking is crazy, due to the Billiards and Filibertos adjacent to this restaurant. I wanted to dance, it wasn't happening there, so we left and went to Phoenix.
