Good food for a fast food chain. Even the cops eat here, so it must be good ?

I've been going to Matta's in some form for over 30 years. This is the worst incarnation. The signature dish is a stuffed chile relleno. The chilli was not cooked. The filling was almost right. Please try harder. Thanks!

The food was just not good I couldn't even finish it. I've had better at other places for even cheaper.

The food is amazing. Always get extra salsa for later. You won't be disappointed! The sour cream has a delicious kick.

Seems like a popular place but has just mediocre food. Tastes like it came out of a can.

Taking a quilting class nearby and decided to do lunch. Wonderful. I had the green chili beef enchiladas. I highly suggest this place as the food is great and price is reasonable.

We used to really enjoy Mattas. The move to their new location left all the charm and ambience behind. Too bad. From food served on dishes with real flatware to foil pans and plastic ware. From a charming Mexican deco to blah. Food quality unfortunately also not what it once was. No complimentary chips and salsa. Might as well go to Taco Bell.

Watch out look out; food ahead! Marta's opened up nearby and thought I would give it a go. As it always seemed busy. Stopped on a Saturday morning to grab a breakfast burrito. The staff is friendly and the place is pretty simple, not a bad thing. Ordered my food, breakfast burrito, and it was ready pretty quick. At home, opened up to see what they had cooked up. The burrito was ok, it included potatoes (the best part), chopped up sausage patties( the round ones) eggs and cheese. The sauce that came with it (side) was a bit bland, for my liking, a bit heavy on the tomato flavor side. Over all, if you like this kind of burrito, this place is for you. Personally, I favor a bit more spice and different ingredients. Again, they are pretty busy, so there is definitely an appeal for sure.

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch this week and we loved the food. I had a shredded beef chimichanga and it was great! The meat was perfect, not dry or chewy. My husband did the carne asada burrito and it was so big he had a hard time finishing it. It was delicious! The salsa was so good we had to buy a few jars to take home. I'm not a super big fan of the seating arrangement, I feel like its meant to be more of a takeout than a dine in. We will definitely eat here again but probably takeout to enjoy at home. Price point is excellent and the staff was really kind and attentive.

Terrible food! Spent $13 after tip for a rice burrito. It was cold, tortilla was raw, no chili, no lettuce, tomato, or sour cream, no rice or beans as a side. The only garnish I got was 1 single black olive that was soggy. I wouldn't feed it to a dog. That would be animal cruelty. Hard to believe they have been an establishment since 1953. Save a couple dollars and go to Del Taco.
