My husband and I both ordered the two-taco plate—he went with ground beef and I chose chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. I’m usually pretty particular when it comes to rice and beans, and I have to say these were amazing.
My earliest memories of Mexican food were Matta's, at both locations on Main. I've been away from the Valley for a long time and decided to check out the latest incarnation. I was not disappointed. Green chile beef burrito with red and green sauce, rice and beans. Every flavor and texture was perfect. The service was friendly and helpful, completing the experience. Thank you, Matta's!
We're happy this local staple is back! Our family had been coming to Matta's restaurants since my husband was a little boy and we love your salsa too! The new location is not a sit-down restaurant but rather geared more for take-out, you can phone in the order and there's a drive through window! I usually get the chilli relleno every time and the flavors were all there for me!!! I am happy and grateful that we can still have our tradition of going to Matta's!...
