Never been here so decided to give it a try today. For $23 it wasn’t worth it for a small bowl of ramen. No dumplings for appetizers. I spent $60 for two people and I left feeling very hungry. My son had takoyaki and it’s 3 small balls and dry. For that price I could’ve gone somewhere else. The restaurant was really cramped too. I almost felt claustrophobic. Only positive is the smoked meat. Never going back.

This was my second time visiting Mensho, having previously tried their downtown location. When we arrived, they originally assigned us seats at the bar, but it felt pretty hot there, so we requested to change tables and the staff was accommodating.
For food, I ordered the duck matcha ramen and it was really good! The matcha and chicken soup blend together well. It’s wonderfully creamy without feeling greasy at all. The duck texture was also incredibly tender....
