Right at a strip mall off Baseline Rd, resides a little piece of Puerto Rico serving the staples of Puertorrican cuisine. Everything is delicious. Have you ever had an alcapurrias? Try it! Have you ever had a mofongo? Try it! If you need a spicy kick with your food ask for "pique" . Treat yourself to pasteles, you are going to love it. Millie's never disappoints! Wonderful authentic Puerto Rican food. Tastes as great as my mother in laws. God rest her soul. I told Millie I wanted to check out the kitchen to make sure my mother in law was not back there making the food. Arroz con gondules with tender pork was amazing. Tostones absolute perfection . Heading to the airport knowing we've had the best Puerto Rican food in Arizona!!
Absolutely delicious! I searched for jibaritos in the area. Millie's had the best overall reviews and the pics looked more appetizing. My jibarito was perfect, so flavorful with generous shreds of tender pork. It was sandwiched by a slightly crunchy, slightly chewy plantain. Wow!
