Absolutely adored this cute place. The atmosphere was welcoming with a fun beach feel. Mary was very inviting and Addi had such a friendly smile! Truly a great experience and I would definitely come back! P.S. The dole whip tastes exactly like Disneylands…10/10!
Food was just ok. Definitely not your traditional Hawaiian Mac Salad that I've had in Hawaii and at other Hawaiian bbq joints. My son thought his kalua pork was a little dry and our cabbage on our plates wasn't cooked. I've never had a Hawaiian plate with raw cabbage on it, always cooked. Service and atmosphere was great though! The food and flavors just wasn't our cup of tea or the type of Hawaiian BBQ we're used to
So I have been coming to Mokis for years. I stopped coming because the last couple times I came in the quality of the food wasnt as good as it used to be. For some reason I thought id give it another shot and to my surprise the food was much better than the last few times. If you've felt the same way I did I would suggest giving them another try.
