This is the closest to authentic small town mexican bakery I've found. I didn't catch her name, but the woman who helped was very nice and welcoming as well

Dropped by to picked up some of their bakery offerings! Got an assortment from concha to pineapple empanada. Everything was sooo good!! Right when i walked in the store, i was greeted with the smell of freshly baked breads. I have tried mexican breads from nearby Mexican groceries and they do not compare to the ones here. Quality and taste is so so much better! Will Definitely come back and let family/friends try

Food was AMAZING, the sauce for the chilaquiles (red) is sooo good, loved it! Horchata has good taste as well (many places don't have GOOD horchata, I can testify this horchata is actually GOOD!) Customer service was top tier, cashier was very polite and attended us quickly 🙌🏽😁

This little store is not very big. But the pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) is wonderful.
When I went they had empanadas de mango, quayaba, apple and pineapple. And there prices are great.
I was able to get 4 dozen mini concha, 4 dozen mini cookies for $40 and they were delicious.

The girl that took our order could try and be a bit more friendly. This was our first time here and we had a terrible experience. I got the wrong food and told her and she said hold on I'll fix it and never brought the correct food. And just left me sitting there without bringing the correct food. I got tired of waiting and left. Unfortunately this is in our neighborhood and were looking forward to having somewhere new to frequent.

I came across this place on TikTok and I’m so glad I did! I loved how the daughter promoted her parents’ restaurant, and I had to stop by. We live in San Tan Valley, but since we were in Mesa, we finally got the chance to try it. It’s so hard to find fresh pan in STV, and I love supporting small, family-owned businesses. The breads were fresh and absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend coming early so you don’t miss out on the popular pans. Smiles and good vibes! I would definitely come again. Thank you El Zocalo!
