If this is the new and improved Panera there is much lacking. Almost every table was dirty. The coffee was cold my wife’s first grilled cheese didn’t even have melted cheese. My French dipper sandwich had a few crumbles of beef, no slices, just tiny pieces. The “a jus” was French onion soup, an odd, but acceptable, spin on the original. Nothing was served anywhere near hot. The only bright spot was the return of the Asian sesame chicken salad and it is still good, as are...

From targeted to Respected, I approve of this location for gathering/studies/along side personal space for recalibration. The atmosphere is so welcoming/ environment full life & movement instead of stagnancy . My environment contributions to remind the workers here to not work too hard / it’s okay to operate in your own speed , simply by using one simple example phrase “Don’t Work Too Hard”.

A few friends wanted to meet for lunch at Panera Bread in Mesa. The atmosphere was fast-casual, and the service was friendly and efficient. I tried the French Ciabatta Dipper and was pleasantly surprised — it was actually pretty tasty. My wife had a soup, and we noticed the other couple ordered the same thing we did but received a free French baguette, while we didn’t.
