This Venezuelan fried plantain sandwich is filled with shredded beef, shredded chicken, fry sauce, cheddar cheese, and lettuce. Add french fries for an additional cost.
Que Chevere Pepito
Comes in a french bread with steak, pork, chicken, bacon, ketchup, mayo, corn sauce, garlic sauce, and Parmesan cheese. Served with a side of fries.
Cachapa with Queso Mano
Cachapas are corn pancakes. They have a very soft white Venezuelan cheese inside the cachapa and then they are topped with shredded white cheese. They usually take 15-20 mins to cook. Add protein (shredded beef, shredded chicken or ham for an additional cost) gluten-free.

Very good Venezuelan food! While much of it was unfamiliar to me, I tried and loved the plantains for the first time, and the rest of their food uses home-smoked meats and fine breads and doughs!

The food was outstanding! Our table of four shared the simpler platter. There was plenty of food. Our server, “Nacho”, was quite attentive and seemed enthusiastic about sharing information about the different dishes. We were so excited to start trying the food that I forgot to take a picture of the sampler. Downtown Mesa has had a hard time sticking the landing, long the deserted city center of a suburban once voted the third most boring in the nation.

But, something wonderful has happened since COVID, where DT Mesa is suddenly cool. More and more food options anchor a growing craft brew scene.
