Not being rude but giving constructive criticism: I’m Puerto Rican and make most of the food on the menu at home frequently. I’ve had my fair share of good empanadas and unfortunately this place did not live up to the hype. We spent $45+ for 7 empanadas and their appetizer combo. The beef inside the empanadas was extremely unseasoned, the potatoes were very undercooked, it’s obvious they use pre-cubed packaged ham, they probably use Goya empanadas discs and their maduros...

What a great local yummy spot! I love they have a fresh garden! I can’t remember the last restaurant I went to that had a big fresh garden. I can see why this place has been around forever. We got the El Captian and Cheeseburger empanadas so delicious! Try them! You won’t regret coming to this little local gem!

Empanadas were very tasty with a good amount of filling in each. Crust had good flavor, a bit on the crunchy side. Combo appetizer was a nice venture into something new. Sauces were all great and everything tasted fresh. Next time I will be trying out some of the sweet offerings, looking forward to the next visit. Cool artwork adorns the walls inside and out with a nice little patio next to the community garden.
