This restaurant opened in the space formerly occupied by Matta's. This is a more upscale Mexican restaurant, and the Enchilada sauce on the burrito was delicious. I ordered the street tacos with beef and potato. I thought that they missed putting the potato in, but our kind server told me that it was mixed in with the beef. Overall, nice environment and great service.

Tried ritos for the first time , OMG hands down the closest I have come to tasting my grandmothers home made food . The tortillas are amazing , the meat has great flavor . Tried the green chili burrito with rice and beans . 10 out of 10 I absolutely recommend.

the food was good, but i tell you why i am leaving a 5 star for Rito's ... our bar man .... Savior, he was very nice and easy to talk to, he took our order very quickly and made sure that the drinks were never empty, and just gave top tier service - Savior deserves a huge raise and a shout out !!! its hard to find good service with a smile and a friendly personality like his.

The FAMOUS green burrito was amazing! We added sour cream and their queso blano appetizer with their house chunky salsa on top and it was the best thing I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant — and I’ve been to plenty of Mexican restaurants in my 38 years in Arizona. Also their pomegranate margarita was AMAZING! We definitely will be back!!!

My new favorite go to Mexican restaurant! Salsa reminded me a lot of ok Mr G’s salsa back in Yuma. Paul did a great job of taking care of us even though he was a bit short staffed.

Alex was our waiter and he was so personable, friendly and completely takes his job serious! He explained the menu and the cool history of the family owned restaurant. I assumed he was part of the family with how much he cared. When I asked him, he said he wasn't. His work ethic and authenticity is such a bright light in a dim world!

We had tacos and they were AMAZING! Their chips and salsa were incredible!

LIVE MUSIC too! We will absolutely be back sooner than later!

Mexican Food Lover

As another reviewer pointed out, the A'La cart choices are very expensive. Beans & rice don't come with the entrees like most Mexican food restaurants, so for a chicken chimi with rice & beans gonna set ya back about $22 bucks. No option for grilled chicken, so your meat is going to be soggy from soaking g in a pot all day. I ordered a house frozen strawberry margarita and they put salt on the rim, should have been SUGAR on a fruity margarita, so lack of mixology knowledge on the bartender. The price was $13 ON happy hour for a well tequila margarita. Food quality is more like a fast food place than a sit down waited on place. The prices are obviously so high due to the cost of paying servers $15-$20 an hour. Quality, service, selection and flavor have all gone down due to higher salaries for wait staff. What a shame, this one will probably go out of business soon like many others because people won't pay for such low quality, lack of choice options.

Great service, terrible food! There is a reason the place was empty on a Saturday night. The food was bland and definitely not traditional Mexican cuisine. The chips served were stale, not a good way to start a meal. On the upside, their margaritas were made well, so if you're just stopping in for a beverage, this place would work. I recommend happy hour, $12 for a small drink is a bit overpriced.
