Surprisingly pleased with this place. We moved to NE Mesa from Gilbert and didn’t have any luck finding a good sushi place. We went there for the first time tonight and were impressed with food, service, and price. It looks like they have a good happy hour as well so we will try that next time.

Stumbled into Sekai Sushi for lunch and honestly did NOT expect to be this impressed.
We ordered the Large Spicy Tuna Nigiri Combo and the Spicy Jungle Roll — and y'all, for under $43 for TWO people including tip, this place is an absolute steal.
The nigiri combo came with a beautiful spread — tuna, salmon, yellowtail, shrimp, and what looked like a spicy scallop — all lined up and looking like they were pulled straight from the ocean that morning....

We LOVE Sekai! I have been going here for the last 15 years! Every time we go in they treat us like family. The food is absolutely delicious, and they have my husband’s favorite tempura! The sushi is always fresh! The staff is attentive and so friendly!
