I went to TC eggingtons with a small group of friends. Even though it was a Sunday, we were seated right away, and our server Alissa was amazing! We were celebrating my friend’s engagement, and Alissa was so excited when we shared that news, it really put us in a great mood. The food was phenomenal too! We will definitely be back.
Absolutely delicious, loved everything we ordered. Went back the next day for breakfast again and everything was amazing x2. The French toast is the best I’ve ever had, as was the hollandaise sauce. I loved that the food felt fresh and healthy, not like a greasy diner style. When I’m back in town I’d love to go again, my pregnant butt definitely sad I don’t have this back home!
I'm reluctant to write this review, but we've been coming to T.C. Eggingtons for at least 20 years, and this is the first disappointing experience we've had. Haven't been for quite some time, so perhaps its under new management, but it wasn't the special experience we've always had in the past. The staff wasn't unfriendly per se, but not the cheerful, welcoming people they once had. My omelette seemed like it had been under a heat lamp...luke...
