Why does it feel like I'm at Mill avenue here? The music suuuuucks, the vibe is totally off. I should not be listening to 50 cent at this place. The food is great but please for the love of God get a better playlist.
Let me start by saying I love tacos. It may sound strange but we have a huge taco culture in Kansas City. I've eaten many Delicious, authentic tacos there. That said, the tacos here at Taco Chiwas were phenomenal. The Carnitas were full of flavor and super juicy, the Pastor had great flavor with a hint of pineapple and the Barbacoa were also packed with flavor. They came just as they should have with the corn tortilla, cilantro and onions. I liked the extra hot sauce on them....
I'm giving it 5 stars due to the tripas they were fried just like I like them, the tongue was delicious. Freshly made tortillas for the tacos. A bit over priced but food was good.
