The venue is great for live music with two stages and a fun atmosphere when a good band is playing but the service is so unreliable that getting food or drinks can be a real struggle even when it is not crowded.
We usually stop in for live musics and drinks - never had food here. Theres usually 1-2 servers for the entire outdoor area so we don’t expect an amazing service. We usually get our drinks at the bar which isn’t a big deal. Live music is always good and it’s a fun atmosphere. We enjoy this place a lot. I do wish smoking section was smaller and farther from the stage - it seems unfair to have all that open space for smokers when it’s usually...
I used to love The Monastery. I’ve been going to this restaurant for years. It’s just a super fun and laid-back atmosphere. I love the outdoor seating and especially the live bands. Food/drink used to reasonably priced, so it was often a first choice for someplace to go on the weekend. Year round, there’s plenty of heaters and misters to keep us comfortable.
