From photos online to walking through the door, the disappointment was thick and heavy.
While the library of games was impressive and extensive and the concept of this establishment is an amazing one, it lacks character and welcoming vibes.
Far too bright, even for gaming. Choosing a soft white rather than White White lights would have helped the ambience of the room.

A great place to meet up with friends. Super chill space, with lots of tables and a huge game library. Super impressed with the layout and good brew selection. Will definitely be returning!

The Silver Key Lounge is a popular spot in Gilbert, offering a unique gaming experience. The lounge features a decent variety of board games, available for free with a purchase from the bar. The atmosphere is cozy, with large groups often playing tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons. While the food options have been noted as somewhat limited and mainly bar snacks, food trucks frequently park outside, providing a range of delicious choices. The lounge boasts a well-stocked selection of drinks, including craft beverages, beers, and wine cocktails. It’s an ideal place to enjoy board games while sipping on drinks and snacking, creating a fun and welcoming environment. Trivia nights add to the excitement, although they may not be suitable for new D&D groups. Located near other popular eateries like the Cat Cafe and Cornish Pasty, the Silver Key Lounge is a great spot for dinner and drinks. The tables are affordable, costing about $10 for a couple of hours, with the cost going toward drinks or food, making it a good third space for spending a few hours.
