We recently visited Tom's BBQ., for lunch. Things I liked were a very cheerful and helpful counter person. My chopped brisket sandwich was delish. Plenty of space to sit, nice music. Things I wish they had were a Coke Zero option on their fountain drinks. French fries that didn't sit in a greasy, limp pile. Better tasting Cole slaw. Cornbread that was light and fluffy, not damp and dense. I know these folks have been in business for a long time. Sometimes that's when attention to details becomes complacent. The barbecued brisket is really good, but they need to reexamine some of their side dishes if they want to remain distinctive over other BBQ restaurants.

Love the food from here and the workers are very nice been eating at toms since I was a little kid and my father since they first opened up. Out of all the locations, this is my favorite one to come to will make the further drive vs. closer ones employees are always very welcoming and kind.

Brisket was chewy; chicken was dry and tough; mashed potatoes were decent. The location by Mill and Baseline is pretty good; this place was a disappointment. Def not with the $28 we paid.

First time, last time. I had ribs and my wife had brisket. While the meats were ok, it was not great bbq. The brisket lacked smoke. Very disappointed by the 2 sauce choices. Maybe just a preference thing, but we didn't care for the sauces. Service was not great. When our meals came we only got 1 container ofsauce between the 2 meals. We asked for a second, but it didn't come until we had to ask a second time. We also only got 1 butter packet to share between our 2 dinner rolls. Our check got dropped at the table without asking if we cared for another beverage or anything else. Overall, not a great experience to make me come back.Oh.... and, they really need to update their website. The menu prices do not match their actual prices. The website showed a 1/2 slab dinner for $18.99, but it was actually $22.99. All prices are higher than the menu shows on the website.

The absolute WORST barbeque I've ever had. The baby backs were undercooked and the so-called "fries" were a greasy lump of soggy potato strings. Someone needs to tell Toms that pork needs to be cooked to 203-208 internal before serving. That way most of the fat renders. These ribs were so fatty they were inedible. Threw out most of the meal....waste of money. Never again.

I bring a large group of friends here every year for my birthday. It's always a wonderful time and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating for all my friends and family.Dietary restrictions: They actually have a sugar free sauce option for my diabetic friends. ?Wheelchair accessibility: I use an electric scooter to get around and I've never had any trouble navigating either inside the restaurant or on their patio.

Tom's is a great place. You hear of places like this like whispers through the wind. But you rarely find them. The Italian beef is great, along with the service staff. Place is generally pretty clean as well. The bar leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of liquor diversity. But I have to remember I'm a booze hound who has a problem and the majority of society doesn't exactly share my point of view on that matter lol.But seriously. Love this place.

I remember when this Location first opened they moved from Brown and Gilbert to here. I used to eat here once to twice a month and stopped by last night for the first time in five or six years. Ordered the dinner for 2 and I am pretty sure everything was cooked this past weekend. Beef was grey in color, Mac and cheese was flavored with canned nacho cheese(same cheese you get with chips and cheese)Not the same Tom’s bbq at all. I won’t be returning, there are so many good bbq options in mesa….

Wow! Mega-friendly, delicious food, served VERY quickly (granted it was 2pm so not busy at all). Excellent establishment. I brought a friend and we both agree, we'll be coming by again the next time we're in the neighborhood.

Decided to stop here to get my Chicago food fix. Left pretty disappointed. $6 for a Chicago dog (for comparison, Portillo’s charges $4), and it wasn’t even made correctly. Bun wasn’t steamed, comically small pickle spear, and for some reason, cucumbers? If you’re looking for authentic and reasonably priced Chicago food, I’d look elsewhere.
