This is the closest I can find to the pizza I grew up eating in Chicago. The thin crust pizza was perfect, and the ranch is also delicious. I was happy to see they had cheese curds on the menu as that was always a staple for me back home as well.
Vero’s Pizza nails it with their thin Chicago-style pies. We grabbed the $25 Thursday special—large one-topping pizza, pizza fritta, and a big fresh salad—and it did not disappoint. Just to start, the pizza here is insane. The sauce has an amazing flavor and the crust is SO buttery. Absolutely delicious and not bad as far as cost goes! Also, the cheese curds are phenomenal. I appreciate that they are not greasy at all and stay perfectly crisp. This place also has delectable ranch as well. My husband also mentioned that the staff were super friendly when he picked up our order! Will absolutely be eating here again
