Super fun but you don't wear appropriate clothing and it was very cold 🥶 but the landscape and the walk were super good

A ton of hiking trails that all look good, but winter isn't a great time to try them. Even if there isn't snow, much of the infrastructure will be closed.

Very nice place, the path to get to the top is beautiful, the people are very friendly, there are bathrooms available almost at any stop you make.

Very diverse and beautiful drive up the Mt Lemmon Ski Valley. They were not open due to lack of snow, but very fun to see the southernmost US ski area. The local restaurant called Iron Door was not open but we will go back another day to check it out.

On our visit we used the cable car, the cost was 17dlls per person, the journey lasts maybe 15 minutes and it is very entertaining if the height goes up a little to take it into account in case you are afraid of heights

Not much snow but great hike away from heat

We wanted to do the hike on the top of the mountain, but the gate was locked due to the time of year despite there being no snow on the ground. It would have been an extra 3 miles to hike from the gate, which wasn’t possible since I’m in a walking boot right now. We decided to wait an hour for the ski lift to open at 10:30 to take that to the top. However, when we went in at open the lady informed us that the ski lift wouldn’t be open until 11-11:30, but then she said probably more like 11:30 because the employee who runs it wasn’t even there yet. Since there is nothing else to do and nothing open in the sleepy town, we didn’t want to waste another hour (or who knows how long) waiting for them to actually open. We really wish they would post their actual hours so people don’t waste their time. The employee didn’t even give so much as a sorry for the inconvenience. Our whole experience in summerhaven was awful. I recommend skipping this town and this “ski” place.

Very nice place, to make the most of it I advise you to go early, to enjoy the landscape since they close at 4:00 p.m.
