Good place for a photo shoot when the leaves change color. Only that area is attracting visitors if you're intended for a photo shoot. But there are some shops you can try for chill. Be alert when you go there on the weekend as the police are checking for speeding.

Awesome views. Great radio location. Large Wild turkeys. Golden aspens. So much different than the desert below. Amazing rock formations on the way up.

This has to be one of my favorite locations in Arizona ,,,,,, in A 1 hour. Drive up a mountain, you can be transferred from a hot desert into a cool Swiss type Setting ...Plus there is a very nice village at the top called summer haven. Which offers many arts and crafts, restaurants and A lodge which has some great cabins to rent.... to stay at.Amust visit...

The mountain is beautiful and we enjoyed riding the lift and the gorgeous views at the top. The men who worked the lift were kind! We didn’t wait in line for food and drink but enjoyed the music. We really appreciated the free remote parking and the shuttle rides with kind Dale. The shuttle should be a keeper!
Its still fun even without snow. Its 15 or so minutes up, and 15 minutes or so down. It's is very fun. Recommend for all ages. Go have a blast.
