I had zero expectations walking in. I just wanted a coffee. What a find! Great breakfast options and a very robust and eclectic latte menu. I ordered a a blueberry cheese danish and a simple cappuccino and both were top notch.

I met the owner as well. Very friendly and pleasant.

Kota’s has put Mounds Park on the map for me. Maybe one day, I’ll retire here so I can walk down to Kota’s for my daily cap. 🤔

Quaint and cozy rustic cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Large deck and parking area near the golf course. Friendly staff and owner. Baked goods made daily onsite. Coffee, tea, and cocoa , hot and cold. Sandwiches and sundries too.

Stopped for break as the traffic was backing up on I17. Coffee was really good as well as the breakfast bagels. Would definitely stop here again.

Excellent coffee & dog photos all over the walls. What else do you need? We each had an iced & hot coffee for the road. We both enjoyed the blend
. There is inside seating or a sweet covered patio if you want to enjoy the cool air. Very clean bathroom. Lots of food choices. Nice to have an independent shop here!

Stephanie took our order and she recommended the caprese sandwich. It was really tasty and the vibe of the cafe was amazing! Loved the doggie pictures everywhere and definitely will come again.

I am your typical insufferable coffee snob from LA. After 3 days at the Grand Canyon, I gave up on a good cup of coffee till I got home and could return to my movie set, yacht, and oat milk farm. I chose Kota’s because it wasn’t Starbucks, whose coffee somehow tastes like those cardboard sleeves they serve it in. Most good coffee shops have the same 3 photos, a latte with intricate designs like the fibonacci sequence, a basic sugarless pastry, and austere modernist furnishings. This place had none of the signature images so I was sus. With low expectation I ordered an espresso and was beyond happy with the outcome. Everyone was really nice, the espresso was excellent and I was yapping like a mad man all the way to the airport. Thanks for making good coffee, Kota’s. I will mention it to everyone I know in Beverly hills.
