“This was a must stop when visiting Nogales, so my friend said. It's a truck stop under the highway, with its own parking, tables and chairs. The food is why I think the locals frequent this stop. I had the birria but they also have tacos, burritos, etc. (Beware of the messy, but delicious, burritos.) The flour tortillas here in the area are my favorite. They are super thin and delish. The prices are okay and the service was what you would expect from the same folks that operate.this business for many years. All business, no frills, down to earth, working folk. Overall, a must stop when in Nogales.“
“A family-friendly and cozy place to share birthdays with the whole family.Vegetarian options: I haven't even seen them, the problem is that parking is very limited, sometimes I don't get there because I'm not there, or I have to park in other places like the new ones in front or at the back and that's why I prefer not to get there even though I really like the food.“

“Excellent Mexican Food Restaurant right in the heart of Nogales, stopped by in the truck, saw the pictures online and had to stop to give the cocktails a try. I got a Pomegranate Mule which is really nice, they got 2 bars, one in the restaurant area and another one in the back, the offer Karaoke Fridays. Food is 9/10, a little more sear on the scallops and it would’ve been a 10. You can decide to spent $100 dollars to eat here or $8 as they got plenty of food options, ranging from your simple Carne Taco which runs for $2.99 to what they call a “Tabla” wood tray with a nice steak cut with some sides in there. Plenty of parking spots. Bright Orange Building right on the corner“
“The food is very good, the burgers are delicious but they are getting smaller and more expensive! I have been eating them for 20 years...the cinnamon churros are delicious but they sprinkled sugar and cinnamon on them and now they don't even heat them and they just serve them...the drinks are very varied...the service is good when there is not much people and it's mostly fast but they sacrifice the quality of what they serve...“
“We were a couple of out-of-towners looking for a good place to grab lunch near where we happened to be. Papa Locos Tacos and Burgers had basically a 5 star rating with tons of reviews. They can't be wrong. And they aren't! I had the chile relleno burger combo. Wow! The chile relleno was huge! And it was on top of the burger! And it had lots of cheese! And the sauce was very good! A great kick to it. The fries were delicious and there were plenty of 'em. A side of the hot sauce helped ensure the kick was evenly distributed. My colleague had the enchilocos with carnitas inside. They were deep fried enchiladas with fully packed with flavorful meet. The side if rice and beans was bountiful. The staff were eager to please. They encouraged us to avail ourselves of the drinks in the gas station if we wanted something other than Pepsi products. I got a large glass of Horchata, which was a nice way to tone down the fire from the sauce. On the way out, the staff offered us to-go cups, which we gladly accepted to squelch the remaining fire on our lips. Inside the adjacent gas station, I noticed a good sale on sports ball caps and a barber shop on the side. This place has it all! If I am ever back in the area, I'd make a point to come back to Papa Locos Tacos. It is one of a kind!“
