The atmosphere was very cozy, our waitress did a great job, and the food was superb. I ordered a chicken burrito with guacamole, and it was so big, I had a 2nd meal with the other half. My sister and I both ate for $22 , including drinks and tip.

The food is just OK. Nothing special here. I ordered 3 burritos and they told me it would be 30 minutes. When I picked up my food it was cold. My chicken burrito was dry. My ground beef burrito didn't taste very good. And my carne asada burrito was really chewy. I haven't tried their breakfast and probably won't. Food is edible, just doesn't have that wow factor.

One of the best burrito's we've ever had! Love this place and wish we lived closer. Quick service, great chips and salsa. Can't wait for our next visit

I gave Casa Rivera's another try, much to my major disappointment. I tried the beef green chile burrito with sour cream. Ordered it in person and brought it home, just about a mile from home. Got the burrito home and cut it in half to eat. I went to take a bit and noticed the burrito was cold. I heated up the burrito and took a bite. Unfortunately, the burrito had absolutely no flavor to it at all, and it was very dry with no green chile flavor to the beef. If it had even a little green chile flavor, it could have been good, but the fact that it was so dry it wouldn't have really made a difference to save it. It was a waste of money and time.

After a hard day's off road ATV ride, we stopped at Casa Rivera for their Taco Tuesday. We had been there some years ago and remembered that they served good tacos. Between us we ordered crispy ground beef tacos, a carne asada burrito and an enchilada combination plate. Their chips were fresh and hot. The salsa was pleasantly spicy, while still not too hot for our Boston kiddos. The crispy tacos were as tasty as we remembered them, particularly with the added salsa. A plus was that the tacos did not disintegrate on first picking them up. Service was well done and the ambiance in this small place was pleasant and low key. I wish there were an option for half stars on Yelp as I would have given Casa Rivera 3 1/2 stars.

Family owned restaurant with authentic family food! Homemade guacamole, homemade salsa with that roasted flavor, homemade white menudo (YUMMY ) and homemade carnitas! Servers are friendly & attentive. The brother is the cook! Senior discount on Mondays

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have been to in the Area. It is a little on the rustic side.

We stopped by here on our drive to Tucson for dinner last night and it seemed pretty busy with both dine-in and take-out customers. Our server was very friendly and we all liked our food. The salsa from the chips and salsa was pretty spicy but delicious. I got the #2 and it's pretty much 2 meals because of how big the burrito is. I added chicken to the cheese enchilada and this was so good. I highly recommend just ordering their enchiladas. The green chile beef burrito didn't seem to have anything other than beef in the tortilla so I wouldn't get this one again.

Got a giant burrito (Burro) smothered in red Chile and a plate of enchiladas, were both absolutely amazing!

I moved away from Tucson about 6 years ago and crave red chili being that it's just not the same where I live now. This is a bit further than I used to drive, but when it was recommended I decided to make the trip. And man, was it worth it. I got the red chili burro, enchilada style. It made my heart so happy to have good red chili again. We got a carne asada to go as well bc I just wasn't done with this place.

If this were the only restaurant for 100 miles I might stop in again. Maybe. Service was good... Beans and rice were good. Salsas, chips, and burrito.... Well, nothing nice to say. ?
