Its a small, humble family owned restaurant in a small town. Makes for delicious comfort food and a friendly face. With daily specials and consistent quality, its easy to keep coming back.
First time in the area so we stopped at Casa Rivera and were very glad that we did. Great food (my son and I both got the #1 combo plate) and some of the friendliest people that you'll ever meet. I highly recommend if you're in the area.
It’s not a fancy place, but the food is good! They make their own chips and salsa. My husband had the combo plate with the chile relleno, and boy does he love those! This one rates high with a light, fluffy coating. I had the combo plate with the two shredded beef enchiladas. Good, but would have liked more cheese inside, not just on top. I love onion and asked for more on top - no problem. Portions are huge. Leftovers made for a wonderful breakfast with an egg on it the next...
