Had reservations ahead of time for 2. Would have been nice to sit at a smaller table near the window but was seated at 8 person table away from the window. When asked if there was anything smaller, there wasn't. However 2 people that were seated directly after us were seated on the other side of the restaurant near a window. Server did a good job. Started off slow but he was slammed. Ordered buffalo chicken dip with homemade chips. Seemed we got the bottom of the barrel. Worked better to eat with a fork than pick up with your fingers due to how small they were. Salmon and Risotto- salmon was good and had a great taste. The risotto had sun dried tomatoes in it, not favorable. The prime rib did not have any flavor. The potatoes were good. The server suggested the dessert and it was really good. It was the yogurt cake with vanilla infused fruit. Very light and had a great taste. Others have commented on the tax. We paid close to $24 in national park taxes, so be prepared for that. It is out of restaurant's control and incurred by the National Park Service. Overall an ok experience. The staff were working hard and did a great job. Michael was a great server. The food was sub par and seating placement for reservations is why I gave them a 3 star.

There are not a lot of options in the area. Our drinks hit the spot. The chicken was good, but the included sides were mediocre at best. Service was slow. The restaurant is located within a National Park. so you have to pay to park. There are a lot added fees, not including the gratuity.

Beautiful area, restaurant is very nice, lighting could be dimmer for better ambience. Could not see Marina for the high light and also shrubbery is too tall for a nice view. Food was just ok, potatoes were cool, husbands steak bordered on being over done. Aujus for prime rib was cool. It was late, we were hungry so did not send back. Our server was Katy and what a delight. She made up for the errors. If in that area again would not go back. It's pretty pricey for what we got.

We had a late dinner. All that was available. Waitress was fine until the end. She unfortunately did net bring Linda's cup of decaf after being asked twice. It was obvious that closing up the restaurant was a higher priority than providing excellent service.

Service by Katie was exceptional, The resort was winding down for the season so it was lacking a little atmosphere , but the view of lake Powell marina at sunset ( beautiful) The food was lacking flair and imagination .

Made reservations 3 months in advance and requested a window seat for our 5th anniversary. We got there they wished us a happy anniversary and sat us on the inside. Missed the sunset. Total garbage! The food was super small portions. Ordered prime rib medium rare. It's was the thinnest cut I've ever seen and was all fat and over cooked. Not to mention it was overpriced also! Very disappointing experience on all accounts!!!!

I was expecting a beautiful view and average food, as beautiful view restaurants frequently deliver. But food was excellent, and service excellent as well. Definitely recommend the Rainbow Room

The service and view are great. My wife ordered a martini which was not acceptable. Her dinner was chewy and disappointing. I had the salmon it was honestly the worst cut of salmon I have ever had. Very disappointing since the last dinner we had there, 3 years prior, was excellent.

It's a beautiful location with a nice view of Lake Powell, but everything else (food, service, management) was super disappointing. Anniversary bubbles served in a water glass because they ran out of flutes and stemware. :(

We made a reservation months ago and let the restaurant know that we were celebrating our anniversary. We purposefully scheduled our reservation for sunset for the amazing views that you can see in everyone's photos and on the website. They sat us at a table that was next to more “casual” restaurant which made it seem that we weren't having a $40 per plate experience. We asked the hostess if we could move to one of the other tables that were open next to the window and they told us no. (No one was sat at one of the tables until we were leaving...) our food was one note and not worth the price. (We shared the lobster tostada app and got the prime rib and the NY strip). The drinks were fun and delicious and our waiter was great (David).

The ambiance was excellent, service was very good. Nice selection of wines, I enjoyed the red Zin. I was somewhat disappointed with the food. My husband's “house wedge salad” was nothing more than a tossed salad with mixed greens, no iceberg lettuce, no wedge. The prime rib was tasty but dry. All portions were spot on. Overall, it was a very nice experience, we will go back.

What a beautiful place, the dining room and its view were stunning and our server, Guy was amazing in all ways, telling us about the area, the Lake and guiding to select our dinners and drinks. The energy of the place was amazing and enough we look forward to coming back and staying at the Lodge to dine here again! Cheers!

I ordered the chicken sandwich which looked delicious but the chicken had an extremely odd texture and color. I ordered it with a salad and asked for champagne vinaigrette dressing and I was served ranch. I asked for the dressing I ordered. When the gal came back she said they were out of it but the had lemon oil or olive oil. I chose the lemon. When it came, it wasn’t dressing at all - it was lemon flavored oil. Gross.
My husband ordered a burger which didn’t look like real meat. It looked like a school lunch burger. He said it was gross, but the fries were edible.
Service - I had to get up and ask for the bill because our server was socializing at the bar with what appeared to be locals.
This place has such an opportunity to be something special, but clearly doesn’t care about repeat business. I guess just drinks would be fine but skip the food.

We made a stop when arriving near Lake Powell, very good food, very good service by Jermann, very smiling and welcoming. Beautiful view from inside, good atmosphere. Good value for money, very generous!
