The food was delicious. I had breakfast. I forgot to take a picture, but the ham and hash brown as well as the French toast were really good. The place is cozy with good music and nice friendly staff.

This diner is straight out of central casting. Several tables and very loud. Most patrons are straight off the river. The food is pretty good, and coffee is refilled quickly. There might be a daily contest for who slams the most plates. If you are looking for serenity, this isn't it. This isn't meant as a gripe, just a fact. I would definitely return.

My Mom loved this diner, eating there at least a couple of times a month when she lived in Bouse for years. It had been years since we had dined there. It was great. The fresh corned beef hash was excellent, the poached eggs were perfect, we enjoyed apple sauce and grits as sides. The prices were reasonable, especially compared to our town in California desert.
This place was the Best. Everything was homemade and delicious. They are not stingy with their portions. Absolutely delicious. If we pass thru here again ..... This is gonna be a must stop on our route.
