“Love this place! We had the chicken wings and a Caesar salad. The wings were juicy with a great amount of meat on them, exactly how they should be. The salad was super fresh and crunchy, with perfectly grilled chicken pieces on top. I usually don’t like most Parmesan or Caesar dressing, but this one was incredible.

Also, I got to see one of the cute bungalows they rent and was super impressed. Everyone here was super friendly! Can’t wait to come back!”

“Best dinning along the River! The ambiance and food is amazing. We enjoy a lunch when playing on the river. We pull the boat in a slip off the river and walk to the Bar and enjoy a well cooked burger served by the friendly staff. River Perfection.”

I have always had excellent service; I've been promptly seated, they take my order soon after, and check on me throughout my meal just enough. The food is delicious, and it's always reassuring when you see the staff eating the same food as you! I'm a creature of habit and usually order the same thing (though I've tried several different entrees, and they are always yummy); the staff are really good about remembering. The ambiance is quite nice, with nice decor and subtle, enjoyable music. The prices are reasonable, too! Highly recommend China Garden~”

The staff is incredible — friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell this is a true local favorite. It’s the kind of spot where you grab a cup of coffee and end up staying longer than you planned because you run into someone you know or strike up a conversation at the counter.

My client was hungry and ordered the ham steak this last visit… and let me tell you, it’s massive. He couldn’t even finish it and had leftovers for a couple of days. If you’re hungry, this is your place.
