Very nice tavern located in Payson, AZ. Not very busy but everyone was friendly. Closes early at 7pm when I was there on a Monday evening. Tavern is closed for business on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Family friendly atmosphere with great homemade from scratch food - particularly loved the prime rib dinner which was slow cooked and seared to our liking - also dog friendly as well! We did not bring groceries with us to Grey Hackle so we were glad to learn this restaurant was across the street! Can’t say enough great things about Taylor - she took such good care of us, by the end of the weekend we felt like friends!! Sitting outside and listening to live music was also a huge...
We stayed in cabin #9 right next to the restaurant. The cabin was so adorable. We had an elk come up to our cabin deck.
We ordered food from the restaurant and they delivered to our cabin, which was nice because it was raining. They were really nice. The food was super good!
Looking forward to visiting again.
