“If you’re looking for a great comfort foods restaurant with an outdoor patio for the pups this is the place to go. Go to relax….service is very slow but everyone was super nice. Also, only sit on the outdoor patio if you don’t mind the skeeters and flies. Once monsoon season passes that issue will be resolved! Great first time visit just didn’t get to eat much because the flies were so bad.”

“Everything about this place is amazing! The Thai iced tea is the best I’ve ever tried, and all of the food was fantastic too. All the staff I’ve met are lovely people. I’m definitely coming back soon and I’d give em more than 5 stars if I could.”

“A few years back my traveling girlfriends were driving thru Payson after a fun filled weekend. They needed their coffee fix - me I’ll get a tea (not a coffee lover). We happened to find this off the beaten track coffee shop that I am sure the locals pretty much know about. We just recently took a day trip again and stopped in. Two coffees and a smoothie for me. We sat and watched the end of the eclipse and enjoyed the patio! Common Grounds is Payson’s little gem! This beats any franchise coffee shop I’ve enjoyed.”

“Ive been meaning to leave this review for some time now. I want to say that this starbucks is great! They are efficient in the drive thru which is so important on busy mornings when you’re trying to get to work on time (especially me who has never been a morning person). They are always friendly and always make good drinks! Just want to take a moment to thank these barristas for all their excellent hard work and kindness that I experience every day.”

“We stopped by for a cold beverage through Payson on our way back to NM. Our server was so very friendly and patient as she explained the differences between possible choices. She made recommendations and helped us select our menu options.

“Firstly, enter with reasonable expections for this kind of establishment and judge accordingly. Chris was a fantastic server! Fun and informative. I ordered a burger that was cooked with a splendid outer layer of slight crispness, resulting from a special oil-butter mix, yet maintaining a juicy and flavorful burger of desirable consistency and thickness. The burger was tender and not too thick, making it easier to handle and improving with each bite. I felt totally sated after the meal. The coffee was made fresh, and was good. The chips were slightly too salty and the baked potato soup was unnecessarily cheesy, although still tasty, but the burger and fries made up for any deficiencies. Nice atmosphere for a casual chat with friends. Recommended. My dining companion noted the chips are refillable, and also commented that the amount of food was fair for the price, unlike some other places, and we were both thankful for that.”
