“Cool little spot on the left side as your driving into Pine. Wood fired pizza next door in the main restaurant, whisky, wine, and beer in the tap room. Small area, only seats about 15 people in the tap room. People have been great, service suffers because it gets so packed. Otherwise, great spot to grab a brew and a bite on your way into Pine or Strawberry.

Parking: Large parking area right off the 87, plenty of parking, even for large rigs with trailers.

Kid-friendliness: Great outdoor area for kids. Ample outdoor seating makes it pretty kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is gravel, might be troublesome to wheel to pavement.”

The serivce is wonderful even with the slightly younger employees they are very polite and helpful last time I was there I was served by a very polite young lady Alissa I think was her name. “Best pizza I have ever had. We ordered the Pablo. They get very busy but worth the wait. Not only is the pizza fantastic but the whole staff is great. Everyone is friendly and they work very efficiently together. The lady tending bar had a great upbeat personality even though she was so busy and she was great at multitasking. Great job! “We stopped in on a weekday afternoon for some ice cream. We decided to order a peanut butter and chocolate sundae and a chocolate vanilla swirl cup. The young man taking your order was very friendly and helpful. We decided to sit at one of the tables outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.

After a couple minutes, we got our ice cream and the swirl was very tasty but nothing outside the ordinary. The peanut butter sundae was really good. If you like peanut butter and chocolate, order this. It’s a great place to spend a few minutes while wandering through downtown Pine and have a little dessert.”

The first Italian food that didn’t give me heart burn. We ordered an appetizer not on the menu and not only did they accommodate but Chef Ricki came out to personally discuss how we wanted it prepared. You know a confident chef when he comes out to check with his patrons on their satisfaction. Lovely servers with knowledge of the dishes. The pasta is light allowing a perfect blend of tastes whatever the topping and you don’t feel so full from too much pasta. I love that. I didn’t need to take unfinished food home though the portions are generous. Can’t wait to go back.”

“I am a major coffee critique. I use to work at a coffee shop. Anyways this is the first coffee we have stopped at on a trip where it was made perfectly balanced with all the ingredients. We always have to ask places to fix a little. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They wrote Bible verses on our cups. Super needed. This particular trip we came to escape our reality from valley life due to a car wreck and loss of our vehicle. This place made is so much more happy for us!”

Next came the Tom Kha Gai chicken soup, which was flavorful, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We finished with the mango chicken curry, ordered at spice level 3, which was just the right amount of heat for us. The sweet mango paired beautifully with the savory curry.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and the service made the experience even better. Thai Station Payson is definitely a must-try when you're in Payson! 🌶🥭🍛”
