El Charro Beer | Mexican is easily one of the best places on the mountain. The food is fabulous, with very large portions, and each plate is always good. The food is great, and the chips and salsa are on point. They also have a nice selection of draft beers, and the margaritas are great. The atmosphere is fun, with neat artwork and a private room, and clean restrooms. The service can be substandard, with slow drink orders and long waits, but the food is so good that people keep coming back. A real favorite of the locals. A combo with flautas was SOOOO good, a good sizeable portion. The margaritas were average, and the service was not very good at times, but the overall experience is a jewel. It’s busy at times, so be patient.
