It's a biker bar. If your a biker you will love it! If not....
Jake’s Corner Bar is perfect for a Saturday breakfast if you’re in Phoenix and don’t mind driving about an hour each way. The food hits the spot, the vibe is super chill, and it’s a great little escape from the city. Definitely worth the drive.
Jake’s Corner Bar and Grill is a lively spot located in Payson, Arizona, ideal for those seeking a break from the city. The restaurant serves as a popular stop for travelers, especially motorcyclists, thanks to its chill vibe and attentive staff. Visitors enjoy the ambiance and often recommend bringing a dollar bill to commemorate their visit by stapling it to the walls. The food is generally good, with standout dishes like the burger, which is praised for being cooked perfectly, and the Pulled Pork Sandwich, though opinions on it vary. The Voodoo craft beer is a highlight for many. While the food quality may not always impress, the atmosphere and friendly service, especially from hosts like Lucille, make it a must-visit destination. It's particularly enjoyable for a Saturday breakfast or a casual lunch after a day drive, creating a memorable experience for all who stop by.
