“A few years back my traveling girlfriends were driving thru Payson after a fun filled weekend. They needed their coffee fix - me I’ll get a tea (not a coffee lover). We happened to find this off the beaten track coffee shop that I am sure the locals pretty much know about. We just recently took a day trip again and stopped in. Two coffees and a smoothie for me. We sat and watched the end of the eclipse and enjoyed the patio! Common Grounds is Payson’s little gem! This beats any franchise coffee shop I’ve enjoyed.“

“Delicious tacos! Our top was Chicken and Carnitas! The cookies are the best, I have never had a cookie like this before!
For me it would be better if they gave the sauces separately, because that way you can add it to your liking.
We will surely arrive back from our trip!“

“If you’re looking for a great comfort foods restaurant with an outdoor patio for the pups this is the place to go. Go to relax….service is very slow but everyone was super nice. Also, only sit on the outdoor patio if you don’t mind the skeeters and flies. Once monsoon season passes that issue will be resolved! Great first time visit just didn’t get to eat much because the flies were so bad.“

“The food and atmosphere were awesome, yet our service was terrible! I had arrived there before a couple sat down next to me. They got their drinks and food and had left before we got our food. The explanation was: the kitchen was backed up! Really? We had the slowest server in the state. Our server walked without any pace whatsoever. All of the other ladies actually did their jobs, ours was on another planet. My wife paid, and I don't know if she tipped her, but I wouldn't have. Too bad I can't remember her name, but like most places, people are hard to find because no one wants to work, and our server showed us that!!! I can't believe that she's still employed!“

“We stopped by for a cold beverage through Payson on our way back to NM. Our server was so very friendly and patient as she explained the differences between possible choices. She made recommendations and helped us select our menu options.
