“Omg! Go for the wine, stay for the pizza! We visited this winery as a group on a wine bus tour! Cove Mesa welcomed everyone with a smile! My group of 5 ordered wine flights and also the two cocktails listed on the menu. While those times were good and I would absolutely visit again The PIZZA! We had both cheese and pepperoni. On this specific day, the owner, Cindy, was the person making such deliciousness! Just like her staff, Cindy, was just as kind and welcoming! 10/10 would recommend!“

“Stopped by here with 3 other friends to grab a bite after a day of snowboarding at Snowbowl and was pleasant surprised - those were some of the best burgers we've had! We ended up ordering and trying the Beach Bun Burger, the Bonfire Burger (two of them), and the Steakhouse Burger - everyone loved what they ordered! “Came here as part of a tour after already having visted several other vineyards and wineries in the Cottonwood area. This one was BY FAR my wife and I's favorite, we were thoroughly impressed by almost every single wine on both of our flights and brought home several bottles to enjoy. If you're in the area and are looking to try out just one or two different locations-this Oak Creek should be the top of your list!“

“Easily the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! Similar to how Dave Portnoy reviews cheese pizza globally, I am very particular about reviewing my chicken sandwiches. I ordered the “Hot” level of chicken sandwich and it was PERFECT. I will be returning and sending everyone I know here in the future. Great kitchen, great staff, great atmosphere. “This place by far has all the tasting rooms and other wines blown away. The personal attention and people are phenomenal. Then there is the wine selection. You would think with all the varietals that they would seem to taste the same. Yet they are all unique. These wines are some of the few that can stand toe to toe with the big west coast reds. “Quaint is the best way to describe a caboose setting on the corner of a downtown intersection. I like to stop in every once in a while while I am out walking . Authentic French cuisine served. If you're in town, stop in have a coffee or pastry.“

“I don't drink beer ( wait, keep reading! ) but the place was so inviting we came in. They have sodas (Arizona ice tea and Coke products) and water if you don't want alcohol. My partner enjoyed a few beers (Love is Brewing IPA and Main Street Blonde, a Blonde Ale). He was happy with them. He likes Sierra Nevada on tap, if that helps decide if you have similar taste buds. Again, I don't partake in beer but their selection is good and service is outstanding. We had food from the food truck outside called Sidewalk Grill: the double burger and fries was delicious. They had live music on our visit. The place is dog friendly. One last thing I remembered ... they have crowlers, growlers in a can? to go.“

The inside is bright & clean, plus there's a nice patio seating area. They were even happy to remake a bowl for me once. ? Thank you!One thing to note: don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program. This is one area where service could improve, as employees never seem to mention it; I realized on my own after a few visits. Please train the staff to remind customers about the loyalty program. Knocked off a star in the service category for this, but will be happy to amend the rating when staff reflects a change in this area. We are paying top dollar to eat this delicious food, after all. ?️“

“Awesome pizza place! We have been looking for a a good pizza joint and finally found it. Had a fun atmosphere, great service and good food. Tons of options to keep everyone satisfied. Homemade deserts were a hit with the kids too. I was skeptical of the fried avocados but they were delicious and a gone in minutes! I would highly recommend.“

“We were looking to grab a drink after hiking the Jail Trail and came across this bar in downtown Cottonwood. The State Bar is an all-Arizona beer and wine bar. They have a good selection of local beers, ciders, mead and wine on tap. State Bar is located between Bocce Pizzeria and Burning Tree Cellars. They have a indoor bar area and an outdoor patio with tables, heaters and patio games. They also have live music on occasional evenings. I love the chill vibe here. “Expected the portions on the Benny and French toast to be more substantial. Wish I would have gone for the standard breakfast tacos since the carnitas tacos were too bland for my taste. Flavor on the French toast was good and came out nice and hot! Bloody Mary had a nice kick.Service was great and the patio atmosphere was relaxing!“

“This was quite a surprise find! We loved all of the smoked meats- hard to choose a favorite. I would recommend trying the sampler platter. Any leftovers are great in a breakfast burrito or as toppings on a homemade pizza. We’ll happily come again when we are in the area on future travels. Keep up making the exceptional menu.“

“Yesterday, my wife and I had burgers at your place. I know burgers, I love them, and I've worked in the industry for a long time. Those were some of the best burgers I've had, and the shake was great too. I'll happily come back again.To make it more interesting, today I had a burger in Sedona at Cowboy Grill... it was one of the worst I've had. Just a dry patty without any seasoning. Twice the price!!“

“Went shopping in Cottonwood and decided to have lunch in Old Town at the Red Rooster. It has a very unique menu. We both had lamb. I had the Lamb Gyros, and Hubby had the Lamb burger. Both came with goat cheese and tzatziki sauce and pickled onions on the side. Amazing flavor, and when you add the pickled onions, it put it over the top. It's a little had to find, but it is well worth the search.“

Suzanne hosted our tastings, and she had a ton of knowledge to share about Stronghold's wines, and the stories that created them. Those wines were all delightful, served with a smile, at a great value, and in a wonderful space. We also got a simple but effective bread with oil board that hit the spot. Great place, with some truly unique wines, recommended.“

“The only reason i gave 4 stars on the food is it was very pricey. But the carne asada plate was delicious! And the chips were nice and warm and the salsa was a perfect mild. I would eat there a lot more if i could afford to.Edit to add the price of my plate wasn't bad.. Just in general some of the options were a bit to pricey there werent really any low price options for our budget at the moment. It was definitely worth every penny and definitely something we will save up for to go again.“

“We went to dinner here and not only was the food terrific our server/ bartender was out of this word. Alex was a sweet young man - very knowledgeable about the bar and food. Patient - kind and honestly awesome!!!! I would go again atmosphere- food- service were all excellent. I had a pineapple martini and pasta dish - terrific! “Stopped in here for the local brewery. Pretty cool place to try out! Ranging from 4.5% to 9.5% alcohol content. The bartender was so cool, make sure we are well hydrated. Their Parmesan fries are the best. Nice bar area to chat with the locals! The beer was so good, we went back for dinner. We had the Detroit crust pizza and it was sooooo good. The other entree and salads looked so scrumptious as well.“
