Rip off! The cocktail sauce may as well been ketchup. Couldn’t tell the difference. I asked does slaw come with it. She said no so I asked how much it was . She showed me the size couldn’t be more than 3 bites and they wanted 3.00 rip off. They have no itemized receipts so you have no idea what you’re paying for. They gave us no napkins and charged because I wanted couple more cocktail sauce, not cocktail sauce more like just ketchup because they are to cheap to actually put a fair amount of horseradish. Everything was greasy and mostly breading. Small pieces of fish, very small. 23.00 for 4 pieces of 2x2 breading and fries. Rip off!!! My bill was over 48.00 for two people. Rip off!!!! They don’t even have paper menus. They also charged me 3 percent for using my cc. I had my own business for over 25 years we never charged someone extra to use a cc. It’s the cost of doing business. Quit stealing from your customers. Never again will I patronize your place. Hope you go out of business soon

We stopped in for fish and chips and also ordered some crabcakes, and we highly recommend this place.
The food was great, not only meeting our expectations but really exceeding them by far.
The fish, fries, and onion rings were cooked perfectly, and the crabcakes were simply delightful.
We will always patronize this place when visiting or passing through Payson AZ. I can offer no higher recommendation.
Parking: Very nice quaint place with indoor and patio dining and simply the best fish in Payson.
A family run operation, this spot did the trick for lunch! For fish and chips outside either England and in Arizona, these were delicious! The spot was clean, friendly, and the service was hardworking. I especially appreciate how the working team has patience for all of their crew members and support each others successes.

Feeling hungry? Well not after reading this review! Stopped by Mikes Fish and Chips for the first time in Payson last week. The decor in the restaurant was super cool and themed! I ordered a chicken sandwich with a side of fries and was disappointed to see my chicken sandwich was pink in the middle and didn’t seem to be cooked all the way through. I requested it be remade or reheated and was told that the sandwiches are pre-cooked and that’s how they looked. I didn’t finish my sandwich and threw it away. The portion of fries I got was tiny for the price of my food. Overall disappointing experience!

We ordered 2 lunches and a half order of mushrooms as a starter. Everything from the fried fish and chips to the handmade fried mushrooms was excellent. Freshly made to order and delicious! Would definitely return when in the area again.

Not very impressed by the portion size for the $. Really it is just fish nuggets they serve. Smallest size of any fish n chips I've ever been to. About $20 for 3 piece and fries, just barely bigger than a kids meal...never again for this place.
