Short wait to be seated. Then had to ask about our waitress and to get a drink. People that got seated after us got waited on before us by the same waitress. Mushroom burger lousy and the French dip was like eating roast beef dipped in wax worst one I’ve ever had and I like a good French dip. Won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend. Dennys is right down the street and is cheaper. Thirty five dollars for a burger and French dip.

Food was terrible, atmosphere and service were okay. We had asked for our bacon and hashbrowns crispy, everything came out soggy and oil soaked. Corned beef hash had no color, gray and straight out of the can.
Driving through Payson to do a little 4-wheeling in the Jeep & fishing....had to stop at Piñon Cafe! One of my favorite breakfast places in AZ. The inside of the cafe feels like a cabin and they always treat you super nice and friendly. I went with the 2-2-2 - 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and 2 pancakes with a side of hash browns (and as you can see in the pic, extra butter for the pancakes). Absolutely loved it! And you can't come here and not get one of their gigantic cinnamon rolls....as in if you don't get one, there should be a penalty or points taken away from you, or your taste buds are put on mute for a few days as punishment. Scale of 1 to 10, I'll never not stop here when I'm in Payson! Love you Piñon...love you so much!

We stopped by to place an order for pickup and the food was amazing! We got the tuna melt, a burger, and a burrito and everyone enjoyed their meals a lot. Service was fast and the employees were super nice!
We drove from Phoenix to eat at our favorite place. Everything is as always: warm atmosphere, wonderful food, big portions, very nice people who understand humor. Everything is so delicious that I can’t remember a place where they cooked with such love and care. Many thanks to the waitress Autom, who was beyond all expectations and praise.

This place is so cute and homey. Our server was Autumn, she was excellent and super friendly! The food was so good, it was mind-blowing. I got the Mogollon Monster and my husband got the Elvis. Both were awesome, and really reasonably priced! If you're like us and you're just passing through, absolutely stop in for some breakfast or lunch, you won't regret it!
