Rim Country BBQ and Wood-Fired Pizza

My husband and I enjoyed our first meal at Rim Country today. Let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! I ate my weight in delicious pizza, superb tasting brisket and a perfectly cooked baked potato. My husband had the 1/2 pound of chopped brisket and the most scrumptious fries topped with cheddar jalapeño sausage. We left in the most phenomenal food coma I think I’ve ever had. 10 out of 10 The service was super friendly and casual. Will be eating here every time we’re in Payson. Customers for life.

I hate to leave a bad review from a one time experience because everybody can have it off night, but we were just passing through and needed dinner. It took a while to get seated and we had looked at the menu and decided on our order before we ever got to the table. The food came out fairly quickly but for a barbecue place the brisket was dry and really hard to swallow. My children said the pizza was just okay, which I took to mean mediocre. The place was very noisy without a family feel at all. I think the worst thing of the night was the service. The waitress never once came back to refill drinks or check on the table. Based on our experience, I would not recommend a stop.

Came to Payson from Phoenix to visit friends who moved to the area. Heard lots of good things about the wood fired pizza here and we were not disappointed by any means. Everyone was super friendly

Forgot to take pictures of our food. We order ribs, pull pork and brisket along with a side of cheese curds. BBQ sauce is sweet and not vey spicy. The ribs & pulled pork were very good, brisket was ok. The cheese curds were awesome. Would definitely go back. We ordered our food to go the waitress/bartender was very nice. We stop in early afternoon around 2 pm and it was not crowded.

Pleasantly surprised by the amazing pizza here! My husband and I are super picky when it comes to pizza, being from the East Coast we favor New York Style . We decided to take chance on the wood fired pizza here based on reviews. The sauce was so fresh and perfectly portioned along with other toppings.. every topping went well with each other and we did add mushrooms also. The crust was also perfect with crisp air bubbles..my fav! We will definitely stop by again when we pass through for work.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The feat for 5was perfect for my family and the waiter suggestion was spot on. Patio was dog friendly as long as dog as people friendly.

Large portions. Large selections. Good service. A little bit of a wait for the food to arrive, but worth the wait. Wanna go back soon.

Kalua pizza was out of this world. Food was outstanding, service was great. I loved that the waiter wanted to bring my dog a bowl of water. We will be back AND, restaurant is an old farm house which is haunted. Prices were really good for what we had. My husband a pitmaster salad with brisket and pork, cooked to perfection.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. We always make sure to stop at least once when we are in Payson or driving through. The food is always amazing and the staff is great!

I found Rim Country BBQ to be very good. We had the sampler plate, corn bread, cobbler and bread pudding and was delicious. Looking forward to our next trip to Payson. We will be back asap.
