Barrels, tasting tables, and winemaking equipment fill the oversized garage where some real magic happens. Owners Bob and Jules Dixon are gracious, generous, and entertaining--sharing their wine and their story with customers. Winemaker Jules is a topnotch winemaker. She's not afraid to try unique wines like picpoul blanc and sangiovese rose. All the wines we sampled are aromatic, rich, balanced, with good fruit and lots of flavor. All are ready to drink now, with smooth tannins that add to the wines' complexities. Each wine I tasted is among the best I've tasted from an AZ winery. And some of the best wines I've ever drunk came from AZ, so that's not faint praise!
