“Large variety of very different and I would say unique offerings. Throw your mead stereotypes out and try some samples. We went in for the cider and left with 4 bottles of the "sparkling" mead. I think of mead as being very heavy, but this was light, bright, bursting with unique flavors. A well chilled bottle should be perfect with our warm evenings.“
“Every time we come into town from Florida, Rune is a must stop!!! This time we ate some lunch too. It was so good! The Burrata is a must!!! As well as the tuna sandwich & Bruschetta! We had the wine tasting and ended up leaving with 3 bottles! I’m not a wine drinker on a regular occasion. However, Rune’s wine does not give me a headache, so I love it! Our family, who lives in Sonoita, raves over the grape mixture for the Rune wines. Highly recommended! We’ll be back every time!!“
“This is one of my favorite wineries I have ever visited! Their wines are incredible, and their cocktails are amazing. The day I visited, they had a cupcake and wine pairing. Add incredible views and ducks/peacocks running around, and you have everything a girl could ask for!“
“Fabulous ladies helped with wine selections. Loved inside with all the bottles and plants. The pizza was so good!!“
“Hands down one of the best wineries in the area! Lisa and her daughter are amazing and so knowledgeable! Don’t leave without trying their dessert wines!! Simply amazing experience will definitely be back!“
“This is a must-stop on your tour of southern AZ!“
“The Queen of Cups is a Patagonia jewel. They have a special every night that is homemade and to die for. The drinks are also made from scratch, no ready made mixes so they are a work of art. The atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door is welcoming and feels like home.“
“Lovely winery in the high plains of southeastern Arizona. Owned and operated by Ann Rancone, a delightful host and very knowledgeable about her offerings. Specializing in Italian red varietals and now, her own olive oils. All very tasty and well priced. Highly recommended.“
“Great place to visit. Just might get some wines in the restaurant!!“
“Great wine , views and service.“
“Absolutely amazing! I loved every wine I tried. I joined the wine club because I just had to have more! Brooke, the owner, and her team were so welcoming and genuine. The tasting room is absolutely beautiful and the view... Highly recommend!“
“It was a hot Saturday in Tucson, Liz & Pete were playing at Sonoita Vineyards down in Elgin… time to drive down to wine country! Surprise bonus, Don Armstrong joined them. As always when Pete, Liz & Don take the stage, the music was outstanding. And I was happy to discover this venue: the Sonoita Vineyards staff were very nice, kind & professional. And then, of course, the wine. Their Baja Boo’z hit the spot. Need I say more? What a great afternoon! Definitely on the short list for a return visit.“
“Our favorite wines. Small tasting room. Totally worth the drive.“
“My wife and I drove from SLC to Green Valley, AZ for a two week vacation. We were visiting my sister who lives in the Quail Creek Resort development. When talking about interesting things to do in the area, she mentioned wine tasting. I had no idea there was a wine industry in the deserts of souther Arizona and was very skeptical.I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Flying Leap Winery in Elgin, AZ. The estate tasting facility was beautiful. The Sommelier was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Best of all, the wine was phenomenal! We bought by the case and left with over $2,000 worth of some of the best wine I've ever enjoyed. If you like Cabernet and are looking for something really special, try a bottle of "Tennot."R. Eric Lewis“
