“Oh. My. Gosh. I have food allergies and eating out when traveling is hard. I asked while we waited for a table so we had time to figure out what I could order. The gentleman working the host stand (whose name is didn’t catch but I presume is one of the owners/managers because he said his son’s name is one of the pizzas on the menu) went above and beyond to work with the kitchen to custom make a pizza safe for me! It was DIVINE and the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. It had trout roe, creme fraiche, roasted poblanos, mushrooms, and I think some lemon zest… I ate the entire thing. Not being made to feel like a burden because of my allergies and instead having the kitchen be excited to play around and make me something really made me feel cared for. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank you thank you thank you. If I’m ever back in this town I’ll absolutely be returning!!!”
“We enjoyed our stop at Rune Wines. Beautiful setting and lovely landscaping. Wine and charcuterie board were excellent! Highly recommend.”
“Fabulous ladies helped with wine selections. Loved inside with all the bottles and plants. The pizza was so good!!”

“Had some great drinks at the Ranch House Tavern. Great people and great layout located in a ideal area of Sonoita. Definitely will be stopping by again.”
“What an interesting find! Not on the main street, so would not have found it but a local had recommended it. The Pinsa dish (made with 3 different flours from Italy!) was terrific and perfect for two with a shared salad. Wish i could come back at dinnertime to check out the atmosphere. Highly recommend.”
“This is one of my favorite wineries I have ever visited! Their wines are incredible, and their cocktails are amazing. The day I visited, they had a cupcake and wine pairing. Add incredible views and ducks/peacocks running around, and you have everything a girl could ask for!”

“We were down there hunting upland birds and came across this Brewery in the middle of nowhere. We came across this Brewery in Sonoita and to say the least we were thoroughly impressed. The food, beer and staff were great, not at all what I was expecting to find in a town of 800. Even the patrons of establishment were first class, salt of the earth Americans. If you are in the area I would highly recommend stopping by for a cold beer, good food and great conversation.”

“Our favorite wines. Small tasting room. Totally worth the drive.”
“Great spot that's not too far from Sonoita. We were there to mainly sample spirits instead of wine. The blue corn bourbon was the favorite, but the maple bourbon (sweat corn) and the rye were great as well. Very cool location for a group to go sample and have some drinks!”

“The Meading Room is a cozy little place off the side of the road either on your way out of Sonoita or on your way in. The grounds allow for outside food and picnics to be brought in and accompany with a flight of Meade or hard ciders for $16 or a plastic “glass” of your favorite one; mine happened to be the Chill Tango which is a Chiltepin & Mango Cider. My Mexican palate naturally gravitated to the spice and tropical notes. There is plenty of space for large or small groups. Plenty of tables, chairs, green grass (the natural kind) dot the property and allow for a spirited larger group (pun intended) or hidden away Adirondack chairs for a more quiet couple looking to sip and relax away from the noise. Being that the area is open, it is also pet friendly. While we were on our visit, a number of patrons brought along their four-pawed companions. The Meading Room is a fun and relaxing place to spend an afternoon. In fact, if you go at the right time of day and year, you may even catch the southern clouds rise and partake in a rain shower.”
