“This was our first taste of AZ wines and what a treat! We did the regular tasting and we were so impressed with the quality and taste of the wines. Then we tried the mead and the cider. We bought a bottle of each and brought it home. The cider was fantastic with a charcuterie board! I highly recommend taking time to sit outdoors. They have some very clever seating with great views. It was a little too windy the day we were there and we had just finished a hike on the AZT, so we elected to stay inside for our tasting.”

“Must stop spot in Sonoita. Food is great! Ice cream is Blue Bell, so it's great, staff is always friendly, if you have your dog with you, you may get a pup cup with real whipped cream, not shelf bought.”

“We did a wine tasting with two pizzas. Both the food and wine were amazing! Did not find a wine we did not like, and the pizza had interesting ingredients that paired very well with the wine.”

“Absolutely love this place! It’s all about the vibe; cute couches, live music, and the most absolutely lovely hosts! I liked the red varietals myself, others in our group preferred the Sauvignon Blanc. We had a reservation for a big group and even tho we arrived late, they were accommodating and happy to see us and had our couches all prepared for us in a prime spot. They had multiple big groups and multiple special occasions happening all at the same time, and accommodated all of us with smiling faces and good humor. AND we had multiple nurses and were asked every time we went up to order if we had nurses or first responders in our group and they were conscientious to give the discount to each order and even extended it to each member of the group! We love you!”

“Lovely surprise in Sonoita! Great atmosphere and excellent food! I had the BBQ Chicken Salad and my husband had the Bacon Cheeseburger with baked potato. He rates his meal a ten! The dressing for my salad was delicious and the chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. Our waitress was a sweet, friendly girl named Aliyah who was very attentive. Smart girl with great plans for her life! Julie, who worked in the store next door, told us about the restaurant and introduced us to Bryce, the manager, who was was very nice, also. We parked our motorhome behind the gift shop. Lovely visit!”

“Really fun place, seems like it's always packed on the weekend. Even though they were really busy, service was spot on, beer and cocktails were tasty and the food was fantastic. We only had some appetizers but everyone was happy with what they ordered. Really nice spot in Sonoita, very well done.”

“Stumbled on this nondescript building a few years ago. In Sonoita there aren't many dining options. Figured a place called the Cafe would be a greasy spoon. Wrongo bongo. More like gourmet burgers with impeccable sides. Always busy & can understand why. Had a beer, burger & side combo. Pleasant staff & service. Great for a Sunday drive.”

“We loved our tasting experience at Sonoita Vineyards. We’ve been able to visit 10 wineries in the area so far, and Sonoita Vineyards has the best wines! Their grounds are beautiful. Love being able to go into the barrel room! Very cool. All around great experience. Will definitely visit again when in the area!”

“Karyl and Kevin are great people to know. Very welcoming and friendly. Karyl is the wine maker and I enjoy most of her incredible wines. She has whites, reds and a rose, 3 sangrias (my favorite is the Arriba with prickly pear, passion fruit and a hint of jalapeño), and multiple flavors of port.”

“So, I'm giving this 5 stars because having run small businesses I know the what it takes to keep the doors open in a small place. Disappointed the first day we went to get a sandwich because they were out of meat. So we bought some bakery goodies and came back the next day. Staff were super friendly. “My wife and I drove from SLC to Green Valley, AZ for a two week vacation. We were visiting my sister who lives in the Quail Creek Resort development. When talking about interesting things to do in the area, she mentioned wine tasting. I had no idea there was a wine industry in the deserts of souther Arizona and was very skeptical.I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Flying Leap Winery in Elgin, AZ. The estate tasting facility was beautiful. The Sommelier was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Best of all, the wine was phenomenal!We bought by the case and left with over $2,000 worth of some of the best wine I've ever enjoyed. If you like Cabernet and are looking for something really special, try a bottle of "Tennot."R. Eric Lewis”

“Little saloon that had great reviews so stopped by. We went in and sat ourselves. Nice decor. Placed our order and food came within 15 minutes.Heard Sonoita dogs were popular around here so tried that. It was nothing like what I heard which included corn and stuff. This had baked beans, onions and jalapeno peppers. For the price it was rather small.Mexican food was awesome. Tacos and enchilada combo was tasty and fresh. Would recommend.”
