Beautiful layout,inside and out. Amazing options for flavors, meads, hard ciders and wines. Sweet staff! They let you taste a small sample if youre unsure. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the lavender one as well as space cowboy🤠!

The Meading Room is a cozy little place off the side of the road either on your way out of Sonoita or on your way in. The grounds allow for outside food and picnics to be brought in and accompany with a flight of Meade or hard ciders for $16 or a plastic “glass” of your favorite one; mine happened to be the Chill Tango which is a Chiltepin & Mango Cider. The Meading Room is a welcoming spot where visitors can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. The shaded porch overlooking wine country remains a popular place to unwind. The menu features a wide range of meads and ciders, including the must-try Spicy Margarita made with Ole No 9 mead. Flights and samplers are available, providing a chance to taste different flavors, although they may be considered a bit pricey. Normal servings are around $8 for a 10oz cup. The annual May Day festival continues to be a fun event with vendors, food trucks, and plenty of outdoor space. This family-friendly venue offers board games and lounging areas inside, along with a variety of flavors, such as the popular chili mango mead. Visitors often find the atmosphere beautiful both inside and outside the tasting room, making it a perfect way to spend a quiet Saturday sipping mead and enjoying the views of the hills, sometimes with horses and cows nearby. With free and plentiful parking, The Meading Room is a great spot to spend an afternoon or evening, where guests can also find delicious options like Goat cheese boards to share. Many people enjoy picking up a few bottles on the way out, as gifts for family and friends who are also fans of this place.
