Authenticos Mesquite Grille

I’ve came to this place since their grand opening and I’ve looked forward on having these amazing tacos, mulitas, burritos, fresh fruit waters, etc…. Today was another amazing experience and will continue coming here!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for a while because the food has always been fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, last night completely changed that. I was served what was clearly old chicken in my burrito. Honestly, I could tell just by looking at it that it had been sitting out, but I went against my gut because I’ve never had an issue with their quality before. Big mistake.

I spent the entire night and day dealing with the consequences, stuck on the toilet and completely regretting my decision to trust that it would be fine. It’s such a shame because I genuinely liked this place. But it only takes one food safety slip-up to lose trust completely.

Consistency is everything in this business. If you can’t maintain the same level of freshness and care that built your customer base in the first place, it’s going to catch up to you. Sometimes you just have to toss the old chicken. Saving $2 isn’t worth losing a customer who’s spent over $100 with you in the past year.

Really disappointed. I never thought I’d say this, but Taco Bell would never. Sad day for Authenticos Mesquite Grille. The flavor is there, but food safety is just as important.

Would be nice if they were at the location after driving 30 min

I got 3 tacos and an order of chips and guac. The chicken taco was very satisfying, you could tell they grilled it on the spot. The chips were homemade and well salted, the guac was light as a cloud and flavorful. BUT THE STEAK. I did not see a smoker, but there is no way this was grilled? I've been to high end BBQ spots and the brisket never had a smokey flavor so well rounded. Most unique and flavorful steak you'll ever have at only 3.50 a taco. It's unbeatable. I wish these guys many successful years and that their children are also well off

Hard to find good tacos in AZ. Finally I found a place where I can eat some good tacos! Im sorry but I dont know why people are lined up at Tacos Calafia! Mesquite grill is where it's at!!!

I cant believe anyone would ever give less than 5 stars to this restaurant. I have ordered two times and the burritos are so good! I love it that you can build your own and I add spanish rice, grilled onions and cilantro and its amazingly good!

A food truck parked in an area on Thomas road off the 101 along with other vendors. There was more tortilla than filling as the pic reveals. The filling I could taste was a bit salty. Still trying to find a good bean burrito in Phoenix.

This place has amazing food and great customer service! I’ve ordered from them several times to cater parties and they have never disappointed me. I highly Recommend them and I will Order from them again for future events!
