Best hidden gem! This is such an amazing concept. The food the atmosphere and service were all amazing. I HIGHLY recommend going here. We will be back very soon.

Wonderful meal. The shrimp scampi with papadelli which was the fish special was delicious. Pasta fresh made, shrimp perfectly prepared and just the right amount of spices and flavors. The burger and potatoes were also delicious.

We loved our visit to Barley & Smoke! Came with friends and had a great experience. Cocktails were unique and delicious and we all enjoyed our meals. Love seeing things like this come up in this area.

If I could give a negative 10 review I would . This woke establishment is aggressive and disgusting the bartender was rude abrasive and totally inappropriate

UPDATE: After posting my review, I received a notification that my "no-show" charge will be refunded. I sincerely suggest that, in the future, this charge shouldn't happen in the first place, and that guests who are turned away over a reasonable disagreement over the dress code are told that they will not be charged, instead of being told they will be counted as no-shows while they're standing, obviously present, in front of the host. I hope they can see how such an experience can come across as condescending and deceptive.

In light of their prompt and courteous response to my concerns, and under the assumption they will adapt positively to my suggestion, I'm changing my review to neutral to reflect the totality of my experience.

All around five stars! The best ambience in Peoria without the prices of Arrowhead or B&B. On top of that…amazing food quality! We can’t wait to go back!

Better than AAA 5 Star Dining Award! Wonderful evening had with neighbors who suggested we try. Didn’t disappoint, a walk thru the sister Peoria Artisan Brewery kitchen you arrive to this real Speakeasy. Atmosphere, music-vibe, cocktails to wine and the Menu! Suggestion to order the Charcuterie Board to start! We were attentively served by Bradford who was a delight! Can’t wait to return with more neighbors!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!!! We got to the restaurant, it took almost 20 minutes after being seated to be acknowledged. Ridiculously sloooooow service. They only had one waiter working. We had reservations for their Tomahawk and the waiter looked at me like I had 3 eyes, said he would be back. He then stated they were "all out of" Tomahawks and it was first come, first serve even though we had reservations for this specific event. No options provided, of course endless "I'm sorries". We left and ended up getting a steak at another place, clearly more prepared and willing to accommodate their customers. Such poor service, no waters, no offer to put in a beverage choice. They really need to work on what they are advertising for reservations if they want customers to stay and possibly return. Soooo incredibly disappointed!

We had such a great time. Waitress was awesome. Food and atmosphere were amazing. We will be back!

Wow wow wow. What can I say? Food was world-class, service was world-class, decor and atmosphere… world class. And right here in Peoria? Can’t believe we are right down the road from this gem and can’t wait to go back.
