I recently had a mixed experience at Black Rock Coffee. While I'm usually a fan of their drinks, my latest visit left me feeling frustrated. I placed an online order expecting efficiency, but ended up waiting over 30 minutes for it to be prepared. During this wait, I noticed walk-in and drive-through customers receiving their orders swiftly, which only added to my irritation. Although the smoothies was as good as ever once I finally received it, the lengthy wait and apparent prioritization of other orders over mine significantly dampened the overall experience. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the quality of the product.

Have Never seen anything like! Only five people in front of me in the line this morning yet it still took 22 minutes to get two coffees. The person The ordering was not polite and very short and inconsiderate. Was told they started using a new system with no training not sure why that should be the customers problem and somebody should have to wait over 20 minutes for two coffees crazy!!

Worst Black Rock! I waited 40 minutes. They served people who came in after me. I asked twice and was told it's coming. After 40 minutes I told them that it was unacceptable. Then they told me the ham and Swiss were sold out. I waited 40 minutes for food they were out of. They ask for tips before service and that's the problem. I tipped and got terrible service. Never got what I ordered. I will not be back. Coffee is so so. Ridiculous!

I wonder how much business they lose by not being able to keep up with demand. The line was around the corner today and many people including myself don't have 30min to wait for a drink. I left including about 4 other cars

5 of us walked in, no one greeted us, we waited & waited & waited, 20 minutes went by before they took our order, ordered 3 hot coffees & 2 iced drinks, another customer came in long after us & ordered, they prepared his couple of drinks before ours, we finally got ours, the hot coffees were barely luke warm. Horrible service, bad coffee.

My first time at this location and the service was amazing like always! The Ambiance always gives you a positive look on your day and the food is always amazing! My wife got the iced chai tea latte and I got a hot Americano, their Americano are the best and have not tried another that can beat it!
Can’t say much on atmosphere as I don’t really go in, BUT, the coffee and service is always phenomenal!!!!! This is my go to spot for my latte! The espresso is delicious and has amazing flavor compared to the “other place” I used to go to. It just tastes good. And the people in the drive thru are always very friendly and kind. They always make conversation. Never had any issues with orders and always the best! Love the points program, the specials they do, the holiday bonuses etc :)

I visited Black Rock off Freeway 303 last week and was SO pleased. Today at Peoria Black Rock I asked for a large brewed coffee and almond croissant. The staff person asked if I wanted iced coffee. It was 51° outside , I was cold, I wanted hot coffee. Another staff person quickly got my order, and the cashier *advised* me I would be getting a medium coffee, as that was the last of their brewed coffee. So, they're open until 8 pm, but out of brewed coffee at 3 pm? The croissant was great, but the coffee was cold - not even warm, but room temperature. I was already disappointed in paying for a large coffee and getting a medium, so I just let it go, and I won't be back. I'll go to the other shop. Note: this is a popular, busy shop, with a continual line of drive through customers. Even though all 4 front staff were busy and really moving along, they remained upbeat and pleasant. Nice interior with adequate seating, too.
